Keep a lid on it Bro.

With inflation talk filling all of our days (maybe not everyones) thought the following was a timely reminder, especially for someone like myself who spends like a drunken sailor on shore leave. Use it up..Wear it out...make it do.. or do without. Not what you'd call an upbeat marketing cry,It comes from a massive resource Ad*Access http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/adaccess/browse.html
One could waste entire lifetimes at this boondoggle fest. Check their site for boring copyright info. Tomorrow, more sneaks i must have yesterday!

How many pounds of punching power?

Quite possibly my favourite reformed villain of all time. We can only hope when Rocky XXII: Electric Boogaloo hits the screens Dolph will return. Maybe as a Ukrainian governor.

Faster than a NOS sticker

You know you need it. This could be the final touch that puts your Monstabishi scorpion/sigma/starion over the top, Stallone style. Forget about turbos, trick pistons and the like, you'll be beating them off with a stick (or indeed a Hasbro Lightsaber). Thanks to Allyson and www.80stees.com

Hot German 3 stripe p0rn

In my neverending search for quality men's athletic footwear I present today's hot sneaks.

These delightful Forest Hill Vintage would equally rock the seniors centre social and quite happily back up for all manner of young persons shindig (weather permitting). Run, don't walk to Size? UK.

Congratulations to my brother, who managed to acquire the new Jordan IV reissue on the weekend. Sending your retired mother out to line up for them in dazzling downtown Parramatta shows true grit.

Breakout!

Skidmarks on your soul..

Pole Position Commercial (Atari)

I remember playing this at Grundys, Surfers Paradise.
How frickin' cool is this ad. For the historic racing fans out there
just check the motley collection of open wheelers.
It goes to show just how big Atari was,
only Gran Turismo would have the budget these days.
Thanks to to the good folks at www.jalopnik.com.

Best movie scene

Rad, it's radical

The scene above could indeed be the greatest ever. Cruelly
looked over by the academy and foreign press during award season,
RAD is still indeed so.

It speaks volumes for a movie when a future Oscar winner would
go out and (unsuccessfully) try to top this flick as a way of launching
her frizzy gingness to the world. Robert Rodriguez also allegedly had a red hot
go with his (unseen by myself) early student film El BMX Banditos.

Never released to DVD, I recently acquired an original boxed VHS copy
on my trip to Los Angeles last year. The nerdy negotiations at
Santa Monica Video were a true embarrassment for my now wife to witness.

5 RAD facts you probably don't need to know
1.
Talia Shire (Mrs Rocky) was a producer

2. Chief Baddie Bart Connors was an Olympic Gymnast married to
Nadia Comaneci

3. Lori Loughlin would go on to co-star in "Full House"
the show that would redefine comedy as we know it

4. The soundtrack was provided by none other session
vocalist John Farnham during his wilderness years.
Sadie had long left and Jack was a long way from being whispered.

5. It's rad.
