Schmick

Seachange? Or just need somewhere to lay low for a while until that "misunderstanding" with the investors and ASIC is put to bed. Ol Gil might have what you need.

Bought this last week. Not much of an expert on all things camper, but this bit of Bavarian kit took my fancy. One owner and just perfect, there is something about an older (in this case 16 years) car that has that "as new" look.

If I can't move it on at least we've got the whole nursery/extra bedroom sorted.

Does Johnny Sack get a taste?

Thanks to 'sene AKA pregnanto AKA Mrs Carthology for this one.
Right now in Long Island you can pick up all manner of goodies at the Sopranos set sale. I'd kill for some of Carmelas quality furnishings, a tablecloth from Satriales pork store or even a baseball bat the big fella used in a "management crisis".

New York Kath & Dave, we'll be very disappointed if on our next visit your breakfast bar remains Soprano stool free.

Helltrack, Hell yes.

Hot off the press at 'Strayas own Sneaker Freaker comes news of a colab that is a must have: Vans and RAD. Regular readers would be well aware with my somewhat obsession with this prince of BMX movies.

To be bored all over again read it here (scroll down to "BEST MOVIE SCENE EVER" )

You can even rock them in team colours with matching pads. Rod & Rex Carruthers fan? Or more of a "local boy" Cru Jones supporter? Choice is yours...

Seven brides for one brother

The one (and only) Mrs Carthology and myself have greatly taken to this latest offering from the good folks at HBO.

"They're just another suburban family trying to live the American dream, struggling to balance the needs of seven kids, three wives, three separate houses, and one husband-in-chief."

Series one started last week Sunday nights on SBS, I'm sure those in the bit torrent savvy Zeitgeist could catch up. Definately worth your attention, if only for everyones favourite Larry Clark KID , Chloe Sevigny, in a series of high waisted Mormon attire.

So tell McDreamy to get McF*cked and really, did anyone really ever give a s*it about Brian anyway?

Saw a massive billboard in Los Angeles advertising the return, done in cross stitch. Pic from www.hbo.com

Nagare

<

Thanks to content provider Coxy for these super cool images. I had seen promo shots of the (hopefully not so far away) Mazda Nagare before, but as is normal they were very studio, in that car mag cover attack style.
These photos come from www.intersectionmagazine.com, read an excerpt of the article here
Full marks to the photographer, I love the fact that the car just looks casually parked in a fairly anonymous LA carpark (I'm sure it is Mazda HQ), and the lighting is far from 500w bright. I'll definately be in the queue for one.

However, the coming of the Nagare now means I can shelve my hunt for one of these:

This car appeared in a ticking cinematic masterpiece, the driver has recently appeared but is far from a HERO. Kudos and a quality piece of promotional tat for the name of the vehicle ( in non or fiction guise).
